Dear Mom and Dad,
It sounds like everything is going great. I always love hearing all the things that are going on. I'll start by answering your questions so I don't forget. A lot of our teaching comes from tracting. We don't do very much street contacting. In Immokalee that is about all that they do, they just talk to the Haitians that are walking around while they are biking from lesson to lesson. We get a few referrals, but most of them are what I call accidental referalls. That is when we stop by a member's house and they have a friend there. Really the only difference the mission has between us and English missionaries is the different supplies. We also have special language meetings before each zone conference. President is thinking about having a Haitian conference in Tampa just so we have a chance to see it more that when we get here and when we leave. Speaking of which, some of the other Elders are jealous because I get to go to Tampa to pick up my trainee. haha My clothes are doing well, I just got a package from Scott and Lesley and it had some socks in it, which was a pretty timely gift. I was really grateful.
This week was pretty good. It is hard to see Elder Jones and Elder Hall go home. Our district is going to be a whole lot different now. We were with them for about 14 months. It's weird to be one of the older missionaries too. Our whole zone is young. But, the baptism went well on Saturday. Jason is a really good kid. Our teaching pool is still pretty small. But I'm excited to work really hard these next couple weeks. So it should be good. Sorry I don't have much to say. I', especially pressed for time today. But I want you to know I love you all, and thanks for all you do.
Love,
Elder Larson
