Dear Mom and Dad,
I hope that you're having fun at scout camp! I sure miss those days. I hope that everything goes well this week. I hope you are able to go to Dr. Redd's funeral tomorrow as well. That is a really tragic story.
Things here are still going well. This week we didn't see too much progress, but the work is still going forward boldly, nobly, and independent. We are teaching a lot of lessons and riding our bikes a lot. We still have three people with a date for baptism. We are hoping to have a few more by the end of this week too. Hopefully the 4th of July will be a big baptismal day.
Yesterday we had quite a few people at church. There were six investigators, two children of investigators, and two other visitors who we haven't yet started teaching. So, about a third of the congregation were non-members. We also had some good participation from the Priesthood so we didn't have to do everything ourselves.
Well, it sounds like everyone is doing pretty well. I hope that scout camp(s) goes well. I can't wait to hear from you next week.
Love,
Elder Larson
