Dear Family,
This week was pretty crazy. First of all, we had a change of plans with the baptism. The three Galety kids asked (on Saturday) to wait a week so that their parents could be there. We happily obliged and so they will be baptized next week. We still had a very wonderful baptism for Marie Fadael on Saturday. Elder Hall came back from Immokalee for the baptism and he'll be back next weekend too. It was a pretty good baptism. It only took her three tries for her to be completely immersed. It was so exciting for me to see her take this step in her life. She has had a really rough life and it has been wonderful to see the changes she's made in her life and the peace and comfort that her decisions are bringing to her.
Other than that, the work is going pretty well. We have lots of good people to work with, not as many as before, but that just gives us a chance to do more finding. This past week has been pretty interesting in a few other ways as well. We got tons of questions about our political views and it was interesting to see the way other people look at the same issues.
I also saw my first alligator this week, it was just walking along the side of the freeway on the way home from zone conference. So it was a pretty exciting week. I hope everything is going well at home, thanks for your prayers, and I look forward to hearing from you next week.
Love,
Elder Larson
