Dear Family,
So, Gustav didn't do anything here. We didn't get any more rain than usual. The reason I didn't write yesterday was because the Library was closed for Labor day. So, don't fret, I'm not stuck inside because of the rain.Well, everything is going pretty good here. This past week we went on an exchange with the zone leaders. I stayed here in Fort Myers and Elder Hall went down to Naples. So I had the opportunity to learn how to run an area. It was pretty eye-opening. Needless to say, I had to call Elder Hall a few times every day. I definitely struggled but that's how you learn I guess. This week we also had a talent show. The Spanish ward put it on and they invited us to participate. Even though almost all of it was in Spanish it was really pretty good. The missionaries' talent was eating donuts. All of the Spanish elders (and the sisters) had a race. They had a pole which had 12 donuts dangling from it. It was pretty funny. The food afterwards was the best part though. The work is still going pretty good. We changed Fernand's date to the 13th and pretty much the only thing that will keep him from that is his dad. We're just hoping to keep him progressing enough that he'll be ready ka menm. We're hoping to have at least 3 more investigators with a baptismal date by the end of the week. So things are pretty exciting. On Sunday, all of the meeting had a similar theme. We talked a lot about temples. The branch presidency all talked in sacrament meeting, my companion taught a lesson on it in Gospel Principles and them we had a combined priesthood-relief society to talk more about them. It was really good. It made me sad to think that I won't have the opportunity to go for a while. But, it is a really good topic and one that the people in this branch really need to hear.I don't have much time to write so I will say good-bye. Thanks for all that you do for me, I really appreciate the letters and the e-mails!
