Tet Chaje! Sounds like things have been quite busy. That's cool that those students were able to see Elder Roman Black in France. (San Juan High French students went to France and saw a Blanding Elder there.) Did I tell you that one of my teachers taught Roman when he was here? He's actually a French teacher but he learned Kreol on his mission so he teaches us to. That reminds me of a story. I bore my testimony to Elder Haws one time while his French teacher was with him and he was just like "whoa, that's crazy. I understood most of that."
We've become great friends with Bichni, the Haitian cafeteria worker. We talk to him almost everyday. He's such a funny man! I think it helps my comprehension alot too.
Speaking of chicken enchilada casserole (he really likes Aunt Gerri Larson's recipe), the food this week has been CRAZY! With all of the mission presidents and General Authorities here this week they closed off half of the cafeteria. We only have one line for all of us and the food is a little below par. I hope I don't sound like I'm complaining, I'm really not trying to. But I will be glad when this seminar is over. The one thing that makes this whole week worth it is our Tuesday Devotional. We were able to hear from Elder Hales. He gave a really great talk on the Atonement. I was surprised how many scriptures he used. It was a great example to me tht even though he's in the Quorum of the Twelve, he still relies so heavily on scripture. I believe he used 30 in his talk. Half of the time he was just quoting them, or reading them. I also thought it was cool how many people were there to support him. Elder Holland, Elder Perry, Elder Christofferson, Elder Scott, the Presidency of the 70, the 128 new mission presidents, Elder Hinckley, and tons more. Elder Mervyn B. Arnold even gave me a hug! It was just really neat to see so many fo the 12 there to support him. None of them spoke or participated, they were just there to support him. It was cool to see.
Today is P-Day and I'm so excited! I finally get a hair cut. I've needed one for awhile now. I'd better get to breakfast though, hopefully I'll see Beau again. I hope all is well.

Eld'e Larson
