Dear Mom,
I'm glad you had a good time at the Perkin's house. I hope your Primary activity goes well. Make sure to mention you favorite missionary. I just sent some pictures to you today, too bad you didn't have them already. Ok, let me clear something up. I don't think I really have gained ten pounds. I'm pretty sure its only like 5-7. So I'm all good, plus I've decided I need to stock up since I'm gonna sweat it all off when I get to Florida anyways. I should be able to take two suitcases. I will probably just have to pay more. I think they may have changed my departure date. On all of my letters that I get they change it to the 28th. It's not really a big deal since that's a while away anyways and it's just approximate. Things are going really well here. I already told you most everything in my letter but I'll just repeat some things. The seminar for new mission presidents is ending today. I'm kinda grateful for that because we'll get our cafeteria back, but I wouldn't mind hearing from another general authority. Elder Hale's talk on Tuesday was great! He spoke on the atonement. I thought it was interesting to see how many scriptures he used. Even though he is in the Quorum of the Twelve he still relies so heavily on the words of the prophets. It's a great example to me of how to teach and a reminder to me that I'm not teaching my own words. It was also nice to see so many other general authorities there to support him. There was five of the twelve in attendance as well as countless others (the presidency of the seventy, Elder Hinckley, etc.) I even got a hug from Elder Mervyn B. Arnold! I guess there are some benefits from them taking over our cafeteria. It sounds like there is alot going on at home. I hope everthing is well, Take care.
Sens'eman,
Elder Larson
