Dear Mom and Dad,

I hope you had a wonderful holiday! It sounds like you are up to some exciting things. Things here are going pretty well. We are trying to work hard and help our investigators. We had three investigators with a date at points during the week, but, one of them didn't come to church so he lost his date. But, we are hoping to see him today so we'll see how that goes. The two that still have their dates are Michael for the 13th and Reginald for the 18th. They both have some concerns, but hopefully they will both go through. That is pretty much all of the investigators we have right now. It's been hard for us to find very many Haitians. Most of the positive people that we find are referred to either the Spanish or the English missionaries. But the work goes on. I just thought of something that I don't think I ever shared with you. But we found out that all of the Haitian branches in the Ft. Lauderdale and Orlando missions as well as the one in Boston were all shut down. That means that I've served in the only two active Haitian branches in the U.S. and possibly outside of Haiti. I haven't heard why they shut down but I plan on asking my MTC companion who served in Orlando. But, things here are going well. We have some good things planned for this week. I hope that everything is going well for you. I love you and am very grateful for everything that you have done for me. Have a great week and I look forward to hearing from you in a week!
Love,
Elder Larson
