Dear Mom and Dad,
It sounds like you had a great week. I'm sure you are having lots of fun up at camp. I am excited to go up on the mountain in the next couple weeks. I hope I can still find some snow. This past week was really good. The highlight for me was definitely the trip to the temple. It was so great to finally be able to go back to the house of the Lord. I'm excited to return again and again. We were able to ride up with the Tufts. They are the senior couple that is serving in Naples. They are a really nice couple. We had a nice drive through parts of Florida that I never even knew existed. All in all, it was a really great experience.
Also, the work is going ok. We have pretty much dropped Reginald. He didn't come to church again yesterday. Michael is doing good. We're having some trouble getting him to church because he usually spends his weekends at his adoptive mothers house and it's hard for him to get to church sometimes. So his baptism is up in the air. On Friday we got a little surprise. We got a call from President Lowman while we were doing studies and he asked for Elder Welch to come and play the piano for a wedding. We didn't know who the wedding could possibly be for, but when we got to the church Sylla and Carmel (some old investigators and parents of a couple members) were waiting there. I was shocked because I didn't even know they weren't married. But apparently that was one of the things that was holding them back. So hopefully that will help them to be able to progress again. Also, their son Wallace is really excited about serving a mission. Hopefully by November he'll be ready. I would love to see him when he goes to the MTC.
That is pretty much the highlights of the past week. To answer your questions, I did get my passport so I shouldn't have any problems getting on the plane. But I realized when I got the card that it is only for land and sea travel so I probably won't be able to use it if I want to go to Haiti. Which my trip this summer is looking less and less likely. The people I was hoping to go with are kind of backing out. But it's all good, I'll have plenty of time to go later. Also, I am planning on e-mailing next Monday as usual. We may only use 15 or so minutes but I think we will do it. I just want to tell you I love you and appreciate all that you do for me.
Love ya!
