Dear Mom and Dad,

It has been a pretty good week. With Elder Tremblay going home and the two new Elders coming out, we have transfer this week. I will be leaving Naples to go back to Providence B. Elder Whitaker will be training a new missionary. I will eventually be serving in a triple-ship with Elder Seaver and Elder Welch. Elder Seaver has been out about 10 months and Elder Welch goes home the same time as me. We will be zone leaders. But for a week Elder Welch will be in Immokalee to show Elder Arrieus the area. So for this week I will be with Elder Seaver and Elder Smith. Then, next week Elder Smith will go to Immokalee to replace Elder Welch. It's all slightly confusing but it should be good. I'm sad to leave Naples. Especially with the way the work is going right now. We have six or seven really solid investigators who could be baptized in May. But I am excited to go back to Providence B. It should be really fun.

Also, I talked to the office this week and got the whole flight home taken care of. I hope. They moved up our return date by one day, and they just added another flight to Grand Junction. So I will still be flying to Salt Lake with Elder Welch and Elder Harris then after a short layover I will fly to Grand Junction and hopefully land at about 5:50. I hope that works better for you.
Love,
Elder Larson

P.S. I did get the Easter package, thank you!

Dear Elder Don:

What a week. It was tax day this week. We like to get our taxes in early, but we have a couple of investments that send their papers to us just before due date and so we are always scrambling to get them in on time. And we did it. It really is sad to have just one dependent for deductions (you). However, I am proud to fulfll my civic duty and pay my taxes.

The weather has gotten really nice. In fact the water is flowing into Recapture so fast that they expect it to hit the spillway this week, and the snow on the mountain is just beginning to thaw and melt. We will have a lot of water this year. We expected to have trees come for planting, but were disappointed. Maybe this coming week. But I did get the riding mower out and cleaned up the yard a bit.

Mom and I also went to Moab for a Scout event on Thursday. I had to conduct a district election, have a planning meeting, and then we had Chinese before coming home. It was a nice short get-away.

Marley is home and reported his mission. Apparently he had a wonderful mission and experienced a lot of life-changes. His mission only had about forty elders, half were native and most of the remainder have Polynesian blood, like Marley. I haven't talked with him yet, but the talk is floating around about how well he did.

Michael got with his Bishop today to set up the blessing for Ryan next Saturday. I think it is a great step for Michael. They were also able to get a replacement car.

I have final classes and final exams this week. Next week is commencement. Things are wrapping up fast. I am ready for the summer and new experiences.

I will try and find out about your driver's license this week. Could you tell me what your DL number is?

Edward went out with the eleven year old Scouts on a camp out Friday night. One of the boys brought a six-pack of Dr. Pepper and drank it all just before bed. They were up until the middle of the night bouncing off the tent walls. And there was a group of college students from Ft. Lewis College in the next site up playing night games, too. He just went home really tired.

We love you lots and know you are working hard. You are always in our prayers. ELEVEN!

Mom and Dad

P.S. I put some money in your account this week.
P.P.S. Did you get your Easter package?
P.P.P.S. Eleven, again.
