Dear Mom and Dad,
It sure was a great conference wasn't it? I really enjoyed all of the talks and the spirit. I learned many things. We didn't have the biggest turn out but there were a few. We only had one investigator. It was Johnley. His mom actually came as well. We are hoping to be able to start teaching her.
I feel like we didn't have a lot of time this week, and not too much was accomplished. But, Johnley is looking good for his baptism this weekend. There were also some inactive members there on Sunday. They were members that we've been working with, so that was pretty exciting. Just as exciting as if they were investigators.
Also this week, we had interviews. They went pretty well. I'm not sure what's going to be happening to me for my last few months. I will probably either be staying here in Naples or going to Immokalee. Either way I think I will be serving with Elder Welch. But that isn't for a couple more weeks anyways. On Friday we had ZLDLC. It went well, I guess. I'm not a big fan of meetings. It wiped out our whole day as well.
The work is going ok. Johnley is doing really well. I'm really excited for him. He's a good kid. He hates the Lakers and he likes country music. Needless to say, we get along great. Most of our other investigators are not doing too well though. That's why we are encouraged to always be finding.
As for the Haiti thing, I will let you know if I need anything or if I find out anything else. Also, what do I need to do about my driver's license? Can I get it renewed from here? Or am I going to have to find another ID to board the plane?
I hope that everything is going great. Thank you for you prayers and your e-mails. I appreciate them all! I hope you have a great week.
Love,
Elder Larson
