Dear Family,
It sounds like you had a great 4th of July holiday. I was craving some shishkabobs all weekend. I had some Haitian made BBQ instead. The branch had a little get together that ended up taking a little more time than we thought.
The work is going well. We are teaching a pretty good amount of people and trying to find more. This week one of our investigators (Michinique-17) accepted a baptismal date for the 25th. It was pretty exciting. Especially when we told his friend, who is a priest in the branch, that he could baptize him. The date will probably have to be pushed back because they are both going to scout camp in Orlando from the 18th to the 25th. But he is really positive.
Also, we are going to start teaching the parents of two of the youth. They are really nice people and already have friends in the church. They should be pretty good.
Transfers passed. I am staying in Naples with Elder Tremblay for a few weeks until Elder Hofer and Elder Valentine go home (don't ask why Haitians go home in the middle of transfers) after which I may be going back to Ft. Myers. Speaking of Ft. Myers, we are up in here today for a zone P-day.
I hope everything is going well. I hope Michael's surgery goes well, I hope the last weeks of camp go well for Edward, and that Dad gets feeling better. Have a great week and I'll talk to you next week!
Love,
Elder Larson
