Dear Mom and Dad,
It was nice to get your e-mail and hear how everything is going. I'm glad to hear things are coming together for the wedding. I got the invitation on Saturday. I'm sad I won't be able to be there to support them, but not that sad. I just better get a lot of pictures! I hope everything goes well with Michael's surgery and that dad's back gets better and everything else.
Things here are going pretty good. This week we saw some good success. We started teaching a few new people. We did have some fairly disappointing news in that our main investigator is probably moving to Cape Coral. We're hoping that he won't be too far from the Church in Ft. Myers. We are also teaching a few older couples/families. It is a nice change from our usual teaching pool. As Haitian missionaries we seem to teach a lot of teenagers. It's nice to be able to teach more complete families.
This coming week is going to be good. Today, the missionaries from Immokalee are coming down so that we can do exchanges. I'm staying here with Elder Valentine. I'm pretty exciting and I think that he is excited to see some of the members here. Then, on Thursday we are having our zone conference in Venice. We're going to have to wake up pretty early to get there. Normally our zone conferences are only about 15 minutes away but a few weeks ago they created a new stake and it threw off our zones and made it so that we have to drive all that way. But it will be nice to see a different part of Florida.
I hope that all is well in Blanding. Thanks for all of your love and support. I am so grateful for all that you do for me.
Love,
Elder Larson
