Dear Mom,
Well, it sounds like you had a great Thanksgiving. I'm glad so many people were able to come (and help with the wedding/Christmas preparations). That Josie cow story sounds like gold. I hope someone had a video camera that night. What are everyone's plans for Christmas? The work here in Ft. Myers has slowed down lately. At the beginning of this transfer we had a huge teaching pool, but a lot of those people have either been baptized or we aren't teaching them anymore. So, lately we have been doing a lot of tracting and other types of finding to try and build the pool back up. Hopefully the Christmas season will help people be more receptive to our message. Thanksgiving in Florida was pretty crazy. We woke up early and drove down to Naples for the Turkey-Bowl. We had a ball playing all the old washed-up English Members and all the Haitian kids from Immokalee. After that, we ate dinner at the church and tried to recover from the football. It was nice to be with all the other missionaries and to have a chance to just hang-out. Today is a special day in the mission as well. Today is scrub-day. Which means that p-day lasts all day instead of ending at 5, in order to give us time (which we will need) to clean our apartments. This evening, we are going to Naples Beach with our zone and having a hot dog roast. Oh, by the way, how is the weather there? Then tomorrow we will be helping a new member move up a story in her apartment complex. Which wouldn't be too hard if Haitians didn't love owning as much extremely heavy furniture as they can squeeze into their little houses. Haitian houses are so funny. I'll have to send you some pictures sometime. Well, everything is going great here in Florida. I hope things are good at home. I can't wait to hear from you again.
Love,
Elder Larson
