Dear Family,
I'm excited to get to Florida and use my umbrella and rain coat? Has the hurricane season started yet? I've learned some funny things about Haitians and hurricanes, one they have a saying "W ap konn Joj" which means "you'll know George" in reference to Hurricane George. It means something like you'll get whats coming to you. Also, most Haitians don't like President Bush. One of my teachers told us he had an investigator tell him that President Bush has a hurricane machine and that he sends them at Haiti.
Mom, I did get your letter. Thank you! I always love getting letters. I wish I would've realized how meaningful they were when my siblings were on missions. I find I'm running out of things to say. It seems like every day is the same as the last. Just learning more Kreyol and how to teach the Gospel. But we have a saying, when you don't know what to say, just bear your testimony. I know that this church is the only true and living church on the Earth today. I'm so grateful to have been born into a family where I can feel loved and learn and grow in the Gospel. I'm grateful to have the opportunity to serve a mission and share the few things I know with the amazing people in South Florida. I know that my call was inspired. I'm growing to love the Haitian people already. I know that the prophets who extended my call are under the direction of our savior Jesus Christ. I know that he is the only way in which we can return to live with our Heavenly father again. I so grateful for all that I've been blessed with and I know that I recieve them only because of my Heavenly Father's great love for me. I know that he loves all his children that same way and that he knows what's best for them and what will bring them true happiness and joy in this life and the life to come. I'm excited to get to Florida and share these things with everyone! Until next week,
Kenbe Janm!

Can we also get updates on his address so that we can write to him?
