Dear Mom and Dad,

Things here are doing great! Today we are having a regular working day, but we are still able to e-mail and shop. The work is going pretty good. We are teaching quite a few people, and we actually had some people at church yesterday, which we have been struggling with. Yesterday, was member invitation Sunday, which means that all of the members were supposed to invite a friend. There were quite a few people there. About a fourth of the 100 people at sacrament meeting were non members. Afterwards we had a thanksgiving pot-luck. It was great eating Haitian-style turkey with rice and pikliz. All in all it was a successful day.

This week we also helped Sylla and Carmel move to Lehigh. They are only about 5 minutes from the church out there but, at least so far, they have chosen to continue to attend the Providnece branch; even though it is about a thirty minute drive for them. But, one thing I've learned on my mission is how to move, or at least how not to move, from the example of Haitians. They don't do any preparation, just show up with a truck and throw everything in. But their new house is actually much nicer, just much farther. But they are doing really good. They both want to be baptized in December, we just need to set a date with them. Which we will probably do on Tuesday.

We are also teaching the Apollo family: Florence, Normand, Lee, and Harvey. They were able to come to church for the first time yesterday and at least the kids really liked it. We are also teaching Jheasong's little sister Lani, who really wants to be baptized. We just need to talk to her mom. We also got a call on Saturday night from a former investigator who we thought had been ignoring us, but who really had only moved and didn't have a phone to tell us. So that was a nice surprise. Plus we have a handful of other investigators and people that we are working with so there is plenty of work to be done.

I just want to tell you once again how appreciative I am for all that you have done, are doing and will undoubtedly continue to do for me in the future. I hope all is going great at home for everyone. Take care!
Love,
Elder Larson
