Mom and Dad,
How is everything going? I hope you had a good Memorial day. I'm anxious to see how Uncle Jon is doing. Things are going great here. This week some exciting things happened. First, I found out that there are armadillos in Florida. Second, we had 31 people at church including 4 investigators of baptismal age. Third, we had transfers. I am still in Naples, but I am now back serving with Elder Tremblay. Elder Jones is up in Fort Myers serving with Elder Welch. So they just did a city-switch with our two companionships. I'm excited to be back with Elder Tremblay. We are teaching a lot of people right now and there are a lot of members who need help. We have a lot of work that needs to be done. Lately, we have been doing a lot to strengthen the branch. It has been struggling for quite some time and so we've been working out some ways to try and get the stake to help us out a little more. We have a lot of good members we just lack leadership. But it just means that more of the burden falls on the missionaries.
Our investigators are doing pretty well. Both of the two that had baptismal dates have lost them. But we have a lot of other investigators who are progressing and moving towards baptism. I am excited to see what will happen with them. But everything is going great here, I hope the same for you. It is a blessing to have such a great family. Thanks for the birthday present. They fit pretty well, although I haven't gained as much weight as you may think. But thanks again, and tell Grandma and Grandpa thanks for the card as well. I don't know if I will have time to write them myself. I hope to hear from you again next week.
Love,
Elder Larson
