Dear Family,
How are you? How is school going? What are all of my brothers and sisters up to? It's good to hear about what they are all up to. Things here are going great. This past week I have had many wonderful opportunities. The work is progressing and the branch is doing really good. Just this last weekend we started teaching a handful of new people. Most of them weren't a direct result of our efforts which is a testimony to me of amount of which the Lord is involved in his work. The first people we met is a family that lives in a house in an area where we don't often go, but we have seen Haitians there and felt prompted to visit them. There are upwards of ten people living there and they are a really cool family. We haven't had a chance to teach them to much but I'm excited for the future. We also got a referral from the other missionaries who is a friend of a inactive member. When we went to the lesson that they had set up for us there were two other people there waiting for us. They all just got to Fort Myers and are searching for a church. One of them is also an advisor to the President of Haiti. The other people we met is a young couple that showed up to church yesterday with one of our members. They are really cool people and are very interested in the church. We are working with a lot of really good people right now and the future looks bright. I continue to see miracles everyday and it is a great blessing in my life to be serving a mission. Things aren't always great but I know that I always have my family's support and the support of my Heavenly Father in who's strength I can do all things. Thanks for the e-mail about Elder Grover. I love hearing about all of those guys all around the world and all of the things that they are up to. Is Sister Royer still doing her letter thing that she was? Tell Tori that pumpkin soup is pretty gross. But I'll get her the recipe anyways. Maybe by the time I get home she can perfect it for me. I hope all is well at home. I look forward to hearing from you next week.
Love,
Elde Larson
