We received a nice letter from President and Sister Colton informing us that our missionary arrived in Tampa safe and in good spirits. Pres. Colton said that as the youngest child of nine we must be very proud of Elder Larson. They could tell that he has prepared well for his mission, and a key part of that preparation has been his faithful family. They said that they are thrilled to have the opportunity to serve along side our missionary. They sent this picture of them with Elder Don.

What a sweet thing for President Colton to do! I have never heard of that before -- is it common?
