Dear Mom and Dad,
I have to say that I am a little bit jealous of the snow, I'm sure you would love the temperatures here though!
Happy late birthday Dad, I remembered last week before I e-mailed but I forgot to write it. I hope that you had a good birthday.
This week was pretty good. We have a pretty good sized teaching pool to work with. Our most positive investigator right now is Rene. He didn't come to church yesterday. I still don't know why, but we are going to see him tonight. He is a really good guy and is really prepared. I'm excited for him.
Also, this is the last week of transfers. It will be weird to have transfers right before Christmas. I'm guessing that I'm moving but I don't know anything for sure. There is talk of President opening a new area way up north in a town named Winter Haven. I think it will happen eventually, but it could happen this transfer.
This week we had Christmas conference up in Port Charlotte. It was a really spiritually uplifting experience. Afterwards we we treated to dinner by the high councilman assigned to our branch. He has an office in Port Charlotte and offered to take us out. He is a pretty interesting man. Puerto Rican-American who speaks French and served in Vietnam and the NYPD. He has some interesting stories.
This week I will be down in Naples on exchanges for a few days, then we have ZDM on Wednesday and Christmas party on Saturday. It should be a good week.
I hope that everything is going good and that you have a great week.
Love,
Elder Larson
